安政2年（1855年）から創業している薬屋。明治20年（1887年）に15代岩尾昭太郎が特効薬「日本丸」の製造販売を開始。効能に加え、ユニークな売上方法で爆発的な売り上げをしめし、東京・大阪・京都・名古屋・札幌・朝鮮・満州に支店を開設し、繁盛期にはハワイ・ブラジルにまで販路を広げる。「日本丸」についての資料等を展示しています。
木造四層三階建ての建物には、「豆田の天守閣」と呼ばれる展望楼・24畳の大広間・大広間から眺められる空中庭園・昭和30年代まで使用していた台所等、ご覧いただけます。

A pharmacy that has been in business since 1855. In 1887, the 15th generation, Shotaro Iwao, began manufacturing and selling the special drug "NIHONGAN." In addition to its efficacy, the product achieved explosive sales due to its unique sales method, opening branches in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Sapporo, Korea, and Manchuria, and expanding its sales channels to Hawaii and Brazil during its peak years. We display materials related to the NIHONGAN. The four-story, wooden building with 3 floors includes an observation tower called ``Mameda Castle,''a 24-tatami large hall, a hanging garden that can be seen from the large hall, and a kitchen that was used until the 1950s.
